Doodle Bugs! 20th Anniversary Celebration: Act of Kindness #19

Mr. Doodle Bug had another stop today in his effort to ‘Pay It Forward’ in honor of  his upcoming birthday celebration. He traveled over to our Orchard Park Center to gather the books that the children collected to support the Buffalo City Mission’s ‘Women and Children Program’.

The ‘Women and Children Program’ is part of Cornerstone Manor, at the corner of North and Michigan in the City of Buffalo. The building provides emergency shelter for up to sixteen single women and five families seeking protection from city streets or an abusive relationship. Women and children can find hope and healing in the facility’s two-year resident recovery program.
